Version2 j.d.o.o. is committed to ensuring digital accessibility for all visitors, including people with disabilities. We believe the web should work for everyone, and we continually improve the user experience across our website to ensure equal access to information and functionality.

As a web development company, accessibility is not an afterthought for us. It is a core part of how we build. We apply the same standards to our own website that we apply to the sites we build for our clients.

We aim to conform to WCAG 2.2 Level AA, the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines published by the World Wide Web Consortium (W3C). WCAG 2.2, published in October 2023, is the current version of these guidelines and is recognized as the ISO/IEC 40500 international standard.

Level AA conformance means the site meets all Level A and Level AA success criteria, which together address the most common barriers that users with disabilities encounter on the web.

We also align our accessibility practices with the requirements of the European Accessibility Act (Directive 2019/882), enforceable since June 28, 2025, and the relevant Croatian implementing legislation.

We have implemented the following measures to support accessibility on version2.hr:

• Semantic HTML structure throughout the site, ensuring that content is meaningful and navigable by assistive technologies.
• Sufficient color contrast ratios, maintaining a minimum of 4.5:1 for normal text and 3:1 for large text, in accordance with WCAG 2.2 success criteria 1.4.3 and 1.4.6.
• Keyboard navigation support for all interactive elements, so the site can be fully operated without a mouse.
• Focus indicators on all interactive elements, making it clear which element is currently selected during keyboard navigation.
• Alt text for all meaningful images, providing text alternatives that convey the same information as the visual content.
• Logical heading hierarchy (H1 through H6) without skipping levels, ensuring a clear document structure for screen readers and other assistive technologies.
• ARIA labels and roles where native HTML semantics are insufficient, providing additional context to assistive technologies.
• Skip navigation links that allow keyboard users to bypass repeated navigation and jump directly to main content.
• Responsive design that adapts to different screen sizes, devices, and orientations, including support for text resizing up to 200% without loss of content or functionality.
• No content that flashes more than three times per second, reducing the risk of seizures for people with photosensitive conditions.
• Descriptive link text that makes sense out of context, avoiding generic phrases like "click here" or "read more."
• Reduced-motion support: if your system asks for less motion, we honour it. Entrance animations are skipped rather than merely shortened.
• An interactive homepage that degrades honestly: every interactive part of the homepage is reachable by keyboard and shows a visible focus ring. Its content is real markup, so it remains readable when scripting or animation is unavailable.

While we strive for full WCAG 2.2 Level AA conformance, some areas of the site may have limitations:

• Third-party content: Embedded maps, external widgets, and third-party integrations (such as payment processors) may not meet all accessibility standards. We select third-party providers with accessibility in mind and advocate for improvements where possible.
• PDF documents: Some downloadable PDF documents may not be fully accessible. Where possible, we provide the same information in accessible HTML format. We are working to remediate existing PDFs.
• 3D and WebGL content: Our website includes interactive 3D elements built with WebGL. While these provide enhanced visual experiences, the underlying information and functionality are available through alternative means for users who cannot interact with 3D content.
• Legacy content: Some older blog posts may not fully meet current accessibility standards. We are progressively updating this content.

We are working continuously to identify and resolve these limitations.

We aim to respond to all accessibility feedback within 5 business days. If we cannot immediately resolve the issue you report, we will:

1. Acknowledge your feedback and provide an estimated timeline for resolution.
2. Offer an alternative way to access the information or functionality you need.
3. Keep you informed of our progress until the issue is resolved.

If you are not satisfied with our response to your accessibility concern, you have the right to escalate the matter:

• In Croatia: Complaints about digital accessibility can be directed to the relevant competent authority designated under Croatian implementing legislation for the European Accessibility Act.
• In the European Union: The European Accessibility Act (Directive 2019/882) provides for enforcement mechanisms at the national level in each EU member state. You may contact the enforcement body in the member state where you reside.

This website relies on the following technologies for conformance with WCAG 2.2:

• HTML5: semantic markup and document structure
• CSS3 / Tailwind CSS: visual presentation and responsive layout
• JavaScript (Next.js / React): interactive functionality and client-side rendering
• WAI-ARIA: Accessible Rich Internet Applications attributes for enhanced assistive technology support

The site is designed to be compatible with the following assistive technologies:

• Screen readers (NVDA, JAWS, VoiceOver, TalkBack)
• Screen magnification software
• Voice recognition software
• Keyboard-only navigation

Our accessibility conformance is evaluated through a combination of methods:

• Automated testing using Google Lighthouse and axe DevTools, run as part of our build and deployment process.
• Manual testing with keyboard navigation to verify that all interactive elements are reachable and operable.
• Screen reader testing to ensure content is correctly announced and navigable.
• Peer review of new features and content for accessibility compliance before deployment.
