A guest deciding where to have breakfast can meet Café Maurizio and read its menu first.

Café Maurizio is an Italian café on the Salzburger Straße in Braunau am Inn, run by Maurizio Bagnato. The day there runs from colazione to aperitivo, with savoury dishes, sweets and ice cream in between, and the café joins Italian coffee culture with ingredients from the region.

Someone choosing where to have breakfast, or where to meet a friend after work, usually wants to know quickly what kind of place this is and what's on the menu. The German-language site tells the story of the café and the people behind it first, then hands over to the food. Reserving a table is a phone call to the café.

Breakfast, savoury dishes, sweets and drinks each have a menu of their own. A guest planning a late breakfast goes straight to the colazione, and someone thinking about a spritz goes straight to the drinks, without working through everything else first.

The dishes sit under German and Italian headings, Frühstück and Colazione, Süßspeisen and Dolci, so the menu keeps the café's Italian character and still reads easily for local guests. Each menu also explains how the dishes are marked for allergens, which matters to anyone choosing with an allergy in mind.

Because the four menus are separate pages, a change in the kitchen touches only the menu it belongs to. A new breakfast dish means one page changes, while the drinks and the sweets stay exactly as they were. The menu pages are kept current.

The site has been live since July 2025. We wrote the copy, designed and built the site, set it up, and host it. The café's story and its menu now sit in one place, in German, for guests who like to know what to expect before they walk in.
