Selling a home on a map, from a brochure

Village Homes Drage sells and installs mobile homes on the Adriatic coast. Not caravans: fully furnished Mediterranean houses that people buy as somewhere to spend their summers, and increasingly as something to let out when they are not in them.

A brochure site could not do that job. A buyer choosing between models wants to compare them properly, a buyer choosing a plot wants to know which ones are actually still free, and neither question survives a phone call chain in a language the buyer does not speak.

The camp map is the sales tool

For each camp, the team uploads a drone photo and drops markers straight onto it, one per plot, each carrying its own status: available, reserved, sold, coming soon. A visitor clicks a plot and asks about that plot.

This is the part that had to be theirs. Availability changes on a weekday afternoon, and a map that needs a developer to update is a map that is wrong by the weekend. The same back office covers the models, the photo galleries, the news and the visitor statistics.

Two tools for people who have not decided yet

Most buyers arrive without knowing which model they want. A comparison tool puts two or three side by side across size, bedrooms, capacity and features, so the differences stop being a matter of flicking between pages. A short questionnaire takes the other route: a few questions about budget, family size and how they plan to use it, and a recommended model with the reasoning attached.

Both were built for this catalogue, which is why they compare what actually differs between these homes.

Four languages, and one of them is doing real work

English, Croatian, German and Slovenian, each fully translated with its own addresses. Slovenian earns its place: a large share of the buyers come from there, and the Slovenian pages bring in leads of their own.

Built February 2026

The structure was built for more camps than the one it launched with, because the plan was always to add them rather than commission another website each time. Some of the aerial and product photography is ours.
