Rottex files one catalogue two ways, because two very different people shop it.

Rottex has supplied Croatian hotels, restaurants and households since 1994. Tableware, hotel cosmetics, cleaning programmes, paper goods: the working inventory of hospitality, the things a kitchen runs out of on a Friday. The range kept growing. The website did not, and it no longer showed a buyer what the company could actually deliver.

They asked for the whole thing rebuilt. Something that could carry hundreds of products, take orders, and be found by the businesses already searching for exactly these supplies.

A hotel purchasing manager and someone buying for their own kitchen want different routes to the same shelf. So the catalogue runs along two axes at once: by product family, which is detergents, cosmetics, tableware and the paper programme, and by the job at hand, which is for dishes, for sanitary areas, for laundry, for disinfection. Whichever way a buyer thinks, they are two clicks from the product.

Structured data sits across the whole range. That is what lets someone searching for one specific cleaning product land on the page that sells it instead of on the homepage.

It is a shop for part of the business and a catalogue for the rest, and that was the point. The regular items go into a basket and check out. The larger arrangements, where the price depends on volume, still close in a conversation, so the site is built to start that conversation.
